Delegates arrive for 2011 conference and general assembly

Delegates have begun to arrive in Canberra, Australia for the 2011 Inas conference and general assembly. More than 26 nations will attend the event, which is hosted by AUSRAPID in association with the Australian Sports Commission.

The weekend will begin with meetings of the Inas Technical Committee and Executive Committees before the conference begins on Saturday 16th where delegates will have an opportunity to receive updates on eligibility/classification and anti-doping as well as help shape Inas’ future sports policy and organisational development.

The General Assembly provides an opportunity to consider a number of motions that will help shape the future direction of the organisation before elections of key officer positions.

This years conference and general assembly is particularly important as it marks the 25th anniversary of the organisation.
