2nd National Eligibility Officer Conference

The event coincides with the Inas European Basketball Championships and European General Assembly. Delegates are invited to attend the Final’s which take place on 25th October.

Bookings must be received no later than 5th September 2014

 

2014 World Para-Taekwondo Championships

Following a new partnership between Inas and the World Taekwondo Federation, WTF has confirmed that athletes with an intellectual disability will compete for the first time in the Para-Taekwondo Championships, which take place in Moscow, Russia, in June.

To compete in the event, athletes must appear on the Inas Provisional Master List no later than the final entry deadline.

Taekwondo is a demonstration sport at the 2015 Inas Global Games.

South Australia Tennis Championships

The South Australian Tennis Championships for Players with an Intellectual Disability take place in Adelaide, Australia, in November. The event is sanctioned by Inas.

2015 Tri-Nations Cricket Series

SA Winston JohnsonInas is delighted to announce that the 2015 Tri-Nations Cricket Series will take place in Melbourne, Australia and will be hosted by Cricket Australia and AUSRAPID. The event will coincide with the last two weeks of the 2015 International Cricket Council World Cup, bringing significant opportunities to raise awareness of the series and a positive legacy for the expansion of cricket pathways for players with an intellectual disability.

The 2014 Inas Open European Table Tennis Championships will take place in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. For the first time, the event will include a junior competition for players under the age of 21.

The first entry deadline is 30th April 2014, and the final entry deadline (by which all players must appear on the Inas Master List) is 30th August 2014. There is no guest entry, and players who hold sports class status “Ineligible” are not eligible to compete in this event.

1st International Tennis Championships “Insideout”

CUS Ferrara and INSIDEOUT are glad to invite you to the 1st INTERNATIONAL TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS “INSIDEOUT” for athletes with intellectual disability, event which will take place in Ferrara, Italy, from the 3rd to the 5th of September 2014.

INSIDEOUT are a no-profit organization whose intention is to carry out socially useful activities, and to promote sport and social inclusion between people with and without disabilities. Insideout aim is both the development a culture of diversity and value of the integration, and promoting the idea of sport as a tool for rehabilitation, development and integration of the person.

1st Inas European Handball Championships (new dates)

handballPortugal will host the 1st Inas European Handball Championships. As Handball is a New Development Sport the players need only to be registered with World Intellectual Impairment Sport using the Provisional Registration procedures – athletes should appear on the list no later than the final entry date.
