DR BOB PRICE OBE (GBR) – INAS PRESIDENT 2007-2013

During his time as President, Dr Bob Price OBE (Great Britain) worked closely with the International Paralympic Committee to successfully achieve the re-inclusion of events for athletes with an intellectual disability within the Paralympic Games. 120 athletes with an intellectual impairment competed in London 2012 – the first time since Sydney 2000.

His legacy means that thousands of athletes across the World have the opportunity to aspire to Paralympic competition, and millions of young people with an intellectual disability have been in inspired to get involved in sport.

Dr Price also drove major improvements within the organisation culminating in the adoption of its first-ever strategic plan in 2013.
