Virtus is delighted to confirm that Sint-Truiden, Belgium will host the 2021 edition of the World Tennis Championships following the disappointment of the 2020 event that was due to be hosted there being cancelled. This is the first Virtus event to be confirmed in the 2021 calendar, which is being adjusted to accommodate the Tokyo Paralympic Games and we would like to thank the Local Organising Committee for their flexibility and hard work to make this possible.

We are particularly pleased to also announce that the competition will be endorsed by the International Tennis Federation. This is the first time a Virtus World Tennis Championship has received such support, following their endorsement of the Global Games in 2019 and recognises the growing collaboration at both an international and national level with many national tennis federations supporting Virtus players at a domestic level.
The competition will take place between 18-24th July 2021 is expected to attract more than 30 athletes from 10 countries who will compete at the Tennis Club Wimbledon.
Despite the impact of coronavirus, Virtus is planning a full competition programme in 2021 and updated information regarding this championship and other rearranged events will be available from Virtus in the coming days and weeks.
